DOUBLE NOMINEE AT THE PRESTIGIOUS BRITISH HAIRDRESSING AWARDS
With over 20 years experience in hairdressing, Lucie has taken the plunge and opened her eponymous salon based in Whalley in the idyllic Ribble Valley. Lucie specialises in all aspects of cut, colour and style within her boutique salon.
During her varied career, Lucie has been a colour educator for luxury brand Paul Mitchell, taking her across the globe to countries including Italy, Germany, Switzerland, UK and the USA to share her hairdressing expertise.
During her time working at the award-winning Daniel Granger salon as Creative Director, Lucie was twice nominated at the prestigious British Hairdressing Awards for her stunning colour and style work. Whilst at Daniel Granger, Lucie also returned to London Fashion Week backstage and assisted Daniel on TV show Body Fixers, currently streaming on NETFLIX.
Lucie’s home for the past few years has been at the beautiful The Loft Hair Salon in Clitheroe, working alongside her great friend and hairdresser, Jess. Here, Lucie was fortunate to further expand her hairdressing knowledge with education from Australian hairdressing icons Edwards & Co as well as extensive in-salon training from Kevin Murphy.
2020 see’s Lucie spread her wings and set up her own bespoke and boutique hairdressing experience. - Lucie King Hair.

IT’S COLD IN HERE
The collection creates a dream-like surrealism inspired by the subconscious conjuring images from the pariah to the messianic. The juxtaposition of strength and sadness, movement and statuesque immobility hopes to provoke thought and controversy.
GUARDIANS
Think guardian angels, mystical figures; each of which inspired the collection named ‘Guardians’. Daniel’s strength in precision cutting, creating strong, geometric shapes coupled with Lucie’s eye for feminine, expensive looking hair colour, and a joint finesse in styling, makes for an iconic collection. A lace effect made from hair, an exaggerated Marcel wave and a short, androgynous crop are all part of the journey to portray alluring, angelic but mysterious images with a modern day, high fashion edge.
